Zombies and Guitars…

Worked all weekend and this game is one step closer to being done. The foundation has been laid and I decided to try something new.

Difficulty options.

Should be easy, right? Well, I spent about 6 hours going down a path that I thought would be the best way to do it and it ended up nowhere. Crash after crash, error after error. I decided to call it a day. Jumped in the shower and as my mind wondered, as one’s mind does while in the shower, a potential solution to my problem came to me. But I was supposed to be done for the day. I told myself that I would test it out, just to see, and then go about my day. And it worked. The solution was right there, but I was looking right past it. Either way a win. With a more positive outlook, I decided to throw together some music as a placeholder so I could get the music code built. Having music in the game definitely adds some life, even though it’s just some samples thrown together. The next step will be adding some sound effects, some more dynamic game play and testing out some crazy ideas that may or may not work…
